Introduction

This guide outlines how you can find a vendor's inherent risk score in the Findings platform.

How the 'INHERENT RISK' is calculated?

The vendor's 'INHERENT RISK' is their score from the assessment in the 'Impact Analysis information' section.

(If a vendor has not completed an assessment, the system will score them at '5%' along with a 'LOW' inherent risk level.)

Step 1 - 'INHERENT RISK'

In the 'Recently added vendors' at the top of the 'Recent' dashboard, hover to the subheading 'INHERENT RISK'.

Step 2 - 'INHERENT RISK ANALYSIS'

Under the subheading, hover over the relevant vendor's 'INHERENT RISK' score (out of 100).

A popup box will appear, titled 'INHERENT RISK ANALYSIS'. It will contain the name of the assessment, the inherent risk figure, and whether the vendor is a 'LOW RISK', a 'MEDIUM RISK' or a 'HIGH RISK'.

The Other Way

Click a vendor's name in either 'Recently added vendors' or from your 'Vendors' list.

You will be taken to the vendor's card. Click the '3. Impact Analysis information' tab. At the top, you will see the vendor's inherent risk 'SCORE'. HOWEVER, it will not state here whether the vendor is a 'LOW RISK', a 'MEDIUM RISK' or a 'HIGH RISK'.
